In the kitchen, the primary work stations-corner sink, island cooktop, and refrigerator-are arranged in a triangle to save the cook time and steps. A walk-in pantry maximizes storage. A mud room between the garage and the kitchen houses laundry appliances and a sink. Three bedrooms, a compartmentalized bathroom, and a master suite occupy the family quarters upstairs. The suite includes a roomy walk-in closet and a bath with a whirlpool tub, shower stall, and a private toilet enclosure.
Each set of construction documents includes detailed, dimensioned floor plans, basic electric layouts, cross sections, roof details, cabinet layouts and elevations, as well as general IRC specifications. They contain virtually all of the information required to construct your home. The typical plan set does not include any plumbing, HVAC drawings, or engineering stamps due to the wide variety of specific needs, local codes, and climatic conditions. These details and specifications are easily obtained from your builder, contractor, and/or local engineers.
