A shed plan is just that—blueprints to build a shed! These smaller structures are ideal for outdoor storage needs and don't include electrical or plumbing, so they make relatively simple projects.
While sheds come in all shapes and sizes, our collection currently offers five simple shed layouts, all with rectangular footprints. Our smaller sheds are 48 (6' x 8') and 80 (8' x 10') square feet, medium sheds are 96 (8' x 12') and 100 (10' x 10') square feet, and large sheds are 120 (10' x 12') square feet. This range of sizes meets the needs of most families, with something for every yard size and storage requirement.
Of course! We specifically designed our sheds to complements the wide range of architectural styles that we sell. That's why we offer sheds with gable, hip, gambrel, and single-pitch shed roofs. If you're not sure what type of shed will match your house best, just look to the roof or feel free to reach out for a recommendation!
Our shed plans include all the information needed to build a shed, including the floor plan, elevations, cross section, roof and foundation details, material list, and assembly instructions. All you need to do is check your local building department to see if you need a permit, source the materials, and hire a contractor or make it your DIY project!
It's certainly possible! While most people are more comfortable hiring a professional and a pro could make very short work of building a shed, these structures are simple enough for experienced do-it-yourself types to try. That's why we include assembly instructions!
