About This Plan

Designed especially as a cabin retreat, this rustic cottage fits perfectly into any lake or wooded setting. The exterior is reminiscent of earlier frontier times and dogtrot homes built by the early settlers. Large front and rear porches provide outdoor living space and seasonal comfort. The large center Living room has an abundance of windows and doors on the front and rear so that cross ventilation can be just as effective as the dog trot homes of earlier times. In keeping with the traditional design, there is a fireplace at each end of the home. The fireplace in the country kitchen and dining area is sure to cast the perfect setting on those cool mornings. The master suite is located in the privacy of the upper level. The master bath is full size and offers a walk-in closet and a large linen storage. The gear storage room can house all of the sportsman gear one can imagine or it can double as a media room.

They contain virtually all of the information required to construct your home. The typical plan set does not include any plumbing, HVAC drawings, or engineering stamps due to the wide variety of specific needs, local codes, and climatic conditions.
